Features
Gameplay: Place 1 block every 10 seconds. A boss bar indicates time left until next block can be placed. Map size is 512x512 blocks.
Canvas render: Canvas is rendered every 1 minute if more than 20 blocks have been placed since last render. Latest render is displayed above. Latest render is also displayed as the server list icon so progress can be followed right from the list.
Leveling system: Place blocks to get XP and level up. Place time is reduced by -0.2 seconds for every 10 levels. Max level is 100. Current level is used as prefix in chat.

History: Render history is saved and available here.

A new timelapse renders once per day. Video is rendered at 512x512 50 fps.
Behind the scenes
The setup is relatively simple. ArtMC is hosted on a dedicated server running Paper. A custom plugin handles place mechanic and canvas render. The plugin was made by Warrior and KarlOfDuty. A single color value is derived from every block, which makes it easy to maintain when new blocks are introduced to the game.
